Many residents of the North Four Corners and Forest Knolls neighborhoods have expertise in many areas.  It is our good fortune that many have volunteered to pen articles in their respective fields for the North Four Corners News [formerly the Northwood News], the newsletter of the Northwood-Four Corners Civic Association.  Topics covered include pet care, snow shoveling, leaf raking, county zoning laws, accessory dwelling units, plans for White Oak, school issues, water conservation, energy efficiency, local wildlife, the importance of insects and amphibians, profiles of local businesses, home maintance and taxes, unique homes in our neighborhood, crime prevention, senior services, neighborhood authors, extensive coverage of gardening and native plants, and deep dives into local history.  Many have dealt with County and State laws on occupancy, parking, noise, and more.  In addition, there are a great number of articles detailing quirky little items about our own neighborhood, plus food, fitness, and health advice.  Whew!  This is a compilation of links to those articles appearing on this website, but it is not inclusive, so please use the search engine!

Please note that some topics with too many articles to list here include North Four Corners Park, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and Community Public Services.  To see those articles, use the search engine.
