Changing the NFCCA Name?

At the October meeting, in addition to electing Officers and Board members, another item for consideration will be a name change for our civic association from “Northwood-Four Corners CA” to “North Four Corners Civic Association.” This was discussed once before, in 2013; read pro and con arguments at the link below.

Historically, when two associations in our community merged, the present name was adopted.  Since then, our community has grown and the association now represents different neighborhoods beyond the Northwood area.  After discussing the name change, we will be taking a vote at the meeting to amend the bylaws.  If you feel strongly, better show up and vote!   ■
