September’s ‘Acoustics and Ale’

The Parks Service estimates a thousand people attended its 13 September 2024 event at North Four Corners Local Park.  The 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. outdoor happy hour was filled with live music, local craft beer, and food from local small businesses.

Concessions for purchase were provided by a variety of local vendors.  Beverages came from Third Hill Brewing Company and Silver Branch Brewing Company.  Local food trucks included Two Smooth Dudes and Money Muscle BBQ.  There was also dessert from Bruster’s Ice Cream.

Live music was provided by local guitarist Shane Gamble.  A Maryland native, Gamble has been a staple in local music scene for nearly 20 years, said the Parks Department flyer.

This event was for all ages.   ■
