Silent Auction to Benefit Senior Center

There will be a silent auction at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, on Monday, 14 October (Columbus or Indigenous Peoples’ Day) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Explore the selection of antiques and contemporary treasures, including jewelry, clothing, stylish housewares, small appliances, unique décor, crafting, linens, and books; many items are from different cultures.

Donations to the auction are welcome until Friday, 11 October, at the Center.  Payments are by cash or check.

The event is organized by the Friends of Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center (FOMSSC), a nonprofit group to raise funds for programs at the Center.   ■
