‘Hallowheel’ Bike Ride 28 October

Our third and last ALL AGES Bike Ride of the year is almost here, and it’s our most fun ride: The Hallowheel Bike Ride is on Saturday, 28 October 2023, at 10 a.m.!

No need to RSVP, just grab your bike, dress up—if you want—and come to the park. We will meet at North Four Corners Park (211 Southwood Avenue) for complimentary coffee and donuts from our friends at The Woodmoor Pastry Shop, and other treats to share with those in attendance, courtesy once again of the NFCCA Board. We will roll out at 10:30 a.m. with a warm up loop around the park and head down towards Sligo Creek Parkway and back for a relaxed pace bike ride of approximately four miles. As usual, our volunteers will monitor the intersections along the route and assist riders to keep our peloton together and the SAG wagon will be present in the event a rider needs a pick up to get back to the park. This event welcomes all! It is always fun to have neighbors that come not necessarily to ride but to hang with us at the park so whether you are a rider or not we hope that you can join the fun one last time!

No te Pierdas el Hallowheel Bike Ride, un paseo en bicicleta para todas las edades

Nuestro tercer y último paseo en bicicleta del año para TODAS LAS EDADES ya casi está aquí, y es nuestro paseo en bicis más divertido: ¡el paseo en bicicleta Hallowheel es el SÁBADO, 28 DE OCTUBRE, a las 10 a.m.!

Saca tus bicicletas y vístete, si quieres sacarle el máximo provecho a tu disfraz. Nos reuniremos a las 10 a. m. en North Four Corners Park (211 Southwood Avenue) para tomar café de cortesía, donas de nuestros amigos de The Woodmoor Pastry Shop y otras delicias para compartir con los asistentes, cortesía una vez más de la Junta de NFCCA. Saldremos a las 10:30 a. m. con un circuito de calentamiento alrededor del parque y nos dirigiremos hacia Sligo Creek Parkway y regresaremos para un paseo en bicicleta a un ritmo relajado de aproximadamente cuatro millas. Como de costumbre, nuestros voluntarios monitorearán las intersecciones a lo largo de la ruta y ayudarán a los ciclistas a mantener nuestro pelotón unido y el vagón SAG estará presente en caso de que un ciclista necesite que lo recojan para regresar al parque. ¡Este evento les da la bienvenida a todos! Siempre es divertido tener vecinos que no vienen necesariamente a montar sino a pasar el rato con nosotros en el parque, así que, seas ciclista o no, ¡esperamos que puedas unirte a la diversión por última vez! ■
