Snow Angels Program for the Coming Winter

NFCCA’s ‘Snow Angels’ program is entering its second year.  Begun one year ago, this program offers those in our neighborhood who need it a helping hand to clear out walkways and driveways after a major snow event.

Removing snow from sidewalks and driveways can be a challenge for many residents, especially after large storms.  Shoveling snow also can be a health risk for many.

We will match eligible seniors and persons with disabilities with a volunteer who will assist with snow removal from walkways, steps, sidewalks, and driveways.

Please contact our volunteer Snow Angels coordinator, Evan Horne (Snowy Owl Drive), at 301.335.1336 or via email at snowangel AT nfcca DOT org if you would like to volunteer to shovel or need someone to shovel your sidewalk for you.  Volunteers are always needed!

For more information, see the NFCCA Snow Angel page.   ■
