A Picture Essay of Our Four Little Free Libraries

By Jacquie Bokow

Right, 10602 Lockridge Drive at the Ride-On Bus stop.

Our four Little Free Libraries are installed!  Here are their locations.  Please feel free to “Take a Book, Return a Book” and read!

Left, 1203 Caddington Avenue near the entrance to Forest Knolls Elementary.

Right, 115 Southwood Avenue near North Four Corners Park.

TAKE A BOOK, LEAVE A BOOK!

Left, this fancifully decorated LFL is at 404 Hannes Street, behind Forest Knolls Elementary School, is featured in the remaining photos.

The right side includes a quotation from author W. Somerset Maugham, “The only important thing in a book is the meaning that is has for you.”

The left side gives the advice that “A good book is a whole new world.”

Best of all, it’s topped with a silver, winged pig!

We urge all Northwood-Four Corners residents — adults and children — to make use of these new mini-libraries.   ■
