If you’ve been by the Four Corners McDonald’s recently, you may have noticed the new banners advertising “open 24 hours.” When McDonald’s first took over that lot, the company got a special exception for its drive-through. One of the conditions of the approval was that this would not be a 24-hour location. With that understanding, Four Corners area civic associations ceased their opposition to the company’s plans.
Presumably McDonald’s would need county approval to make such a change. NFCCA and the Woodmoor Pinecrest Association will be looking into this, so stay tuned. ■
