EARLY VOTING

Voters may go to any early voting site in Montgomery County and cast a ballot from Thursday, 27 October, through Thursday, 3 November, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.  Early voting results are tallied on election night, just like votes cast on Election Day.  If you vote early, you may not vote by mail or on Election Day.

Deadline for a registered voter to request an electronic vote-by-mail ballot is 5:00 p.m. (by mail) or 11:59 p.m. (email/fax/online).

Vote-by-mail ballots for the 2022 General Gubernatorial Election must be mailed or deposited to any election drop box by 8 p.m.  If you mail your ballot, it must be postmarked no later than 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 8 November 2022 to be counted for the respective election.

MAILING YOUR BALLOT

If you choose to vote by mail-in ballot, ask for a mail-in ballot from your Montgomery County Board of Elections.  You may mail or deliver your voted ballot to the Montgomery County Board of Elections before election day.  You may also take your completed mail-in ballot to an early voting center or to a polling place, or drop it off in a drop box.  You cannot submit your voted ballot online or return it by email or fax.

If you mail your ballot, the envelope must be postmarked on or before election day.  It must be received by your Montgomery County Board of Elections by 10:00 a.m. on or before Friday, 18 November 2022, for the general election.

You can always drop your mail-in ballot at our polling place,
Forest Knolls Elementary School, on election day!
